Hello

I am one of those who gamed a lot back in 2001 - 2004
Fought both suspects and Won (with its lag).

Any "Won" replacement for MP gaming (Swat 3 related of course)?

Hi, and welcome back.

No WON replacement yet, we have been using VPN programs to connect via virtual lan games.

The current VPN program being used widely here is www.tunngle.net
It's easy to install and works great right out of the box.

Of course, to get SWAT3 to work correctly on the VPN you must first update your SWAT3 to v2.1 then install the Last Resort v6 modification. It is also recommended that you replace all the original SWAT3 video files with the newly updated video files located in the download section of this website. SWAT3 will still work without preforming this step, however your game may crash when a cutscene is played (i.e. :the detonation of a bomb where you see the man hole cover fly off in the sewer map) Updating the new movie files repairs that bug.
Tunngle works as is from standard installation. Hope to see you at a reunion!
