Ugh, I fear this will just be a distraction for me. Do I need to be a part of it?

Regardless, I spent the day coding the Last Resort Launcher. Got a nice headache, lol, Might look into that link tomorrow when I am refreshed.

On the contrary, it's just what you need, being around other fellow modders and mappers will motivate you. Besides, Learn_More asked about the exact hexedits you made on the exe.

There is no I in TEAM.

It's up to you, we are having a blast.

Make sure you garner as much information as you can from your time with him. It might shed more light on how the engine is designed and how it is placed in the exe.

Copy-cat I re-read your PM and I am confused as to why I need to download and install software. You will probably remember how I hate installing unnecessary (and potentially dangerous) software on my computers. I like keeping them lean and clean ;)

What exactly are you guys working on? Why am I needed (ie what can I add). All information regarding the .exe hacks are posted in the Last Resort forums and only involve hacking the screen resolutions. Nothing to do with colour depth.

The only other thing that was done was to allow us to use larger resolution textures.

I take it Learn_more is working on some sort of hack (directx hook?).

Errr, since I didn't get a reply I assume that the intention of my post came across wrong. I always fuck up the tone on posts, lol.

Let me try to rephrase my last post. Yes, I think it would be fun to come online and chat about the 32 bit colour side project but I am hoping you guys can handle it. I am really shitty at multi-tasking and at not getting distracted. I have a horrible problem with procrastination.

Although I would really love to see 32 bit colour get done I have to concentrate on working on the Last Resort launcher and the 2D menus right now.

My reluctance to join in has to do with my faults mainly.

Hmm, you mean re-recreated maps or ripped geometry?
