Do I see a Scenario Editor patch in the making here?

I can post the screenshots but creating the UI images will take some time.

I just remembered you can pull the character data from the missions they are in, or in the Swatdata.res characters.dat file, so you can have the exact attributes for each character.

The pic of Donna Briggs on a gray background is a screenshot? I can tweak such a pic on Paint, to transform it to the required format.

MH_DIG_002
MH_DIG_003
MH_DIG_005
MH_DIG_006

These were already in the Scenario editor so i didn't need to create images for them.

The other ones I created images for and found their corresponding data in the characters.dat of the Swatdata.res file.

All images have been created, and the Scenario Editors Characters.dat file has been updated. I will creating a patch, if needed.

Unless that is what your intentions were, was to make a patch for it, then I will leave it up to you. Files will be available in the download section unless otherwise advised. Let me know.

No, I didn't intend to make a patch (I just wanted to improve my options for the Scenario Editor). I'm pleased that you already have the necessary features already done, so there's no need for me to "re-invent the wheel" by starting work on another patch. I look forward to the day when the files you worked on will be posted.

Do you know of any other characters that are missing from the Scenarion Editor?

There are several aliases for each character, meaning, Some skins have more than one name. Using default names, and just as long all charaters within the Swatdata.res are covered I feel that would be enough.

Trying to cover all characters in individual missions, would be a task I dont think needs to be included. This is because mappers are using the same "built in" characters and just giving them new aliases or names.

I did my best to track down the missing characters, and list them. I hope I haven't skipped anyone. I agree that using default names would be sufficient. As long as the missing characters become selectable in the Scenario Editor, we should be fine.

K, I'm done, Redownload patch and repatch. Should be good to go now.
Please report bugs. Thanks.

Unfortunately the only way to add the kids in your scenario is to edit the .sse file by hand, using a Female Hostage code for the basis of the entry.

To add kids in your map. Check out this tutorial Here
